I'd rather have 27 PS3's hooked together in a grid setup for that price. .

When not Folding or doing some serious computing you could also have some kick-ass neighborhood on-line parties to boot..

They made a big mistake using Blu-ray burners, they should have went with a HD-DVD ROM drive. j/k

For that price, you would think they would figure out a better option for the liquid cooling. Why would you cool with the air that is inside the case? You would think they would have come up with a viable option to cool with the outside air. With that much power, you are going to have lots of heat and trying to cool down water with the air inside the case is probably going to cause some problems, if not slower processing times.

Where is the wattage of the PS? Watch it be like 400 or 500 watts

What's the point of a computer that size though? Unless one is doing some seriously memory hungry tasks all day long, it's complete overkill.

With those handles it looks like they hid a MacPro inside it

But anyway, just thinking about loading 3dsmax on that beast and hitting the Render button makes me want to go out and apply for a loan

Very nice rig. This is the type of computer I would build myself and save some $. Save the liquid cooled thermal solution. Maybe build a cooking oil solution.
