Anyone know what happened to City of Ember? - Blu-ray Forum

Saw this with my son and was pleasantly suprised. Why was it not released day and date with the DVD? Anyone know if it will be released any time soon on BD. A really good kids movie.

I've seen it on the dutch release schedule. So that means its coming. I think it was 2nd half of 09.

Fox really dropped the ball on this movie. If the movie was marketed correctly, they could have made some good money on the film. i really enjoyed this movie.

Hopefully soon for you. Were just not quite to the point that a Blu release is guaranteed to debut with it's SD counterpart. I'm still waiting on Charlie Bartlett and Hamlet 2 as well from last year and it sucks seeing the DVD already out for months.
