Default "You always remember your first"

Take a moment, sit back, close your eyes< optional and think of the first movie you can recall seeing at your youngest possible age.

Mine is M.A.S.H, I was five or six and my dad was watching it. I wasn't at all sure about what I was seeing but I remember all of it.

Growing up as a child in the days before VCRs and cable TV were common in homes, I recall my awesome experience as a child of seven years old standing in a line that wrapped around the theater, and watching "Star Wars" on the big screen in 1977. It was the best night of my life back then.

Of course, when the lines wrapped around theaters again in 1997, I was there, too...

I also remember seeing "Raiders of the Lost Ark" in 1981. Loved it then as I do now!

Herbie Rides again 1974, I was 3 but I remember it because it was such a BIG deal. I did not go to the theater agin until Star Wars, three years later, or at least do not rember going.

This is a tough one, but I might be able to figure it out.

I think it was The Land Before Time (in which I remember taking my rubber puppet from Pizza Hut with me).

I clearly remember the first R-rated movie I saw in theaters, which was The Rock (aka The F'ing Rock).

Jaws2. (1978) At the drive-in theater with my dad. I was 3 or not quite 3. Then I also remember watching, The Shining (1980) and Airplane(1980) quite vividly from my favorite rocking chair at home. I was four-ish. For a regular theater, I recall the more age appropriate, Popeye (1980), also 4ish. wow..that is going waaaaaay back!

My mother used to take me down to our old one screen theater(LONG since gone) when I was little.
I remember watching a lot of Disney films.
Bambi comes to mind in particular,a rerelease around '75 or so.It sticks in my mind because I can recall the film breaking part way through.

Neither have i, and i didn't know there was one until a few months ago. I've heard it's crap, so i'm not going to ruin such a great movie watching a crappy sequel.

Haha. I remember seeing Rocketeer too (so I imagine we are similar in age, based on our picks).... but those two movies are 3 years apart.
