Question on Amazon ordering....

I have ordered plenty of blu-ray movies from Amazon up to this point. My question has to do with something I have not done. And that is ordering a movie yet to be released. I like to wait until the Sunday papers come out in order to check on the best deals. Anyway, I was wondering when new releases are shipped from Amazon. For instance, if I order Body of Lies and Passion of the Christ today, will they ship on the 17th or can I expect them delivered on the 17th? Thanks everyone.....

It varies. I always use free shipping, and most of the time they ship on or the day after the release date. However, Friday the 13th shipped today (tomorrow release date).

just depends really. i ordered the bourne trilogy from them and paid for 2 day shipping and i got it on release day. i think it just depends on what shipping method you use

They are usually shipped one day before the release date. If you are lucky you may get it on the release day, or most likely one or two days after.

Yep..that is my take on it. I, 95% of the time...get the movies 1 day after the release date.......very rarely the day of. Never does it go 2 days past the release.
