hi i had a question

i went to blockbuster and ask the lady is it possible to check the disc if its playing inps3
its my wedding video transfferred to bd from dvd

say said no i DON"T CHECK its against the rules

is it so

maybe she is getting in the sense of making copies
its my wedding video

you are barking up the wrong tree asking ANY store to play a personally made video - they simply won't do it because they don't know what is on the disc - it could be adult oriented material that could/would offend someone

OP is EXPECTING that a store is going to play a movie for him in a PS3 because he asked them to...

He doesn't have a PS3 (and it sounds like he doesn't have a Blu-ray player at all) but his buddy made a copy of a wedding video on DVD to BR-D (why, who knows? - it won't get any better quality-wise)

This is the problem with this country, people EXPECT others to bend over and do what they want them to do and when they won't budge, they cry like children until either they get their way

OP - you shouldn't expect ANYONE to play this for you - go buy a PS3 and check it out for yourself

Just because you ask someone at a store to do something, doesn't mean that they are obligated to do what you ask.

As far as you saying that the video is a wedding video, they don't know you and don't know if you are lying or not...the people at the store have a job to do and if they mess up, they will be out on their ass.

You say that there is a wedding video - the person has to take your word for it.
That would be like me saying that I live in a 5000 sq ft house and am 7 ft tall - you'd have no way of knowing whether it is true or not unless you actually see my house and meet you personally. But I'm not going to let you do that...because, I don't know you.

Problem with this country? The person sounds like he just got off the boat. I'd call it just ignorance...he doesn't know any better from what I can gather.

Yes - a good number of younger people coming up into being productive in society are spoiled rotten children that never had to work hard to get what they wanted when they were children. They expect everything to be done for them and to be given all that they desire (wanting blockbuster to play a movie).

I agree, OP seems to be new to this land but this behavior is what I have typically experienced when people come over here - they wear a sense of entitlement - maybe wherever they came from they may have been top of the food chain. But here, no one should have to bend over backwards because they want something.
