Default Where to rent blu-ray double dips?

A few Blu-rays have been re-released already such as 300, Natural Born Killers, and Stargate. I would like to be able to sample some of them to see if they are actually worth the double dip, but netflix seems to only stock the original release. Does anyone know if blockbuster or another rental service that tends to get these re-releases? Thanks

300 is the same audio and video w/ a digibook and extra extras. The original Stargate was anything to write home about, and I think there's a new review here. Walmart has it for $20.

I don't know if you'll find somewhere to rent these new versions, but making a purchase isn't exactly going to cost you a house payment.

Good question. My local BV stores don't carry them and I tried to get some through netflix as well I knew that had been reissued by putting the movie it in my queue. I get the first edition all the time.

Same. I tried to put the newly reviewed version of Stargate in yesterday and it would only show the original.

Stargate is a definite upgrade, with a jump from lossy to lossless audio and an improved video quality.

300 is the only one that could be considered a "double-dip" as the video and audio are the same for both releases.

Natural Born Killers is avaialble in the Digibook R-rated version or the keepcase Unrated version. Both have different extras pertaining to each version.

Stargate is a remastered release with improved video and lossless audio. The new release also adds plenty of additional extras for the film.
