Default What double-dips would you buy?

Since studios are now starting to double dip blurays, which ones (released, upcoming, or unannounced) would you be willing to rebuy if you've already bought the 1st version?

I'd definitely say T2 if the Ultimate Edition is released, in addition to Usual Suspects if the studios decide to include all the special features.

I'd consider double-dipping any movie where they improve the picture or audio but at the moment, can't think of a "for sure" example.

Not many. Cause I refuse to upgrade to Blu-Ray in general, unless I can get all of or more than the extras that were on the best DVD release. So I've passed on quite a few. So I won't need to double dip, but I'll happily finally upgrade if they come out with a fully loaded SE later.

28 Days Later will not get any better PQ. It was shot for low budget and that is the best it will get. The last few minutes were shot with a different camera and that is why they are so much better than the rest of the movie.
I want double dips for all three Terminator films. I know a T2 double dip has been rumored to tie into either Terminator Salvation or Avatar.

28 Days Later will never look any better than it already does. It was shot using standard definition video cameras.

Speed Racer sounds damn fine, all things considered. A future double-dip will have to do better than just adding lossless audio to get me to buy it again.

I have chosen not to buy Indy 4 or any of the Bond films on Blu because of the inevitable box sets.

I might double dip on The Departed if it came out with a commentary by Scorsese and a documentary covering the making of the movie.

I would also double dip on Superman The Movie if they release the "Ultimate Box Set" on BD.

T2 for sure. Kill Bill 1 & 2 if they release the Whole Bloody Affair. Other than that I will not double dip anymore.

I was going to post just to say 28 Days Later will not get any better, but you guys beat me to it

I'd double dip T2, and like lsalas76 said Kill Bill 1 & 2 if they release the Whole Bloody Affair. Interview with the Vampire, because the BD audio is a downgrade from the DVD audio if I recall correctly.

I'm in the same boat. I've upgraded pretty much every movie available on BD that I had previously owned on DVD.

T2 is the one I'm waiting for , the current BD versions available suck. It must include the Extended Special Edition similar to what was on the dvd and be in lossless audio not lossy audio
The dvd had the following so must the diffinative BD.......
Theatrical Cut.... 136 min. 04 sec.
Special Edition....153 min. 02 sec.
Extended Special Edition .... 155 min. 43 sec... only accessible as an Easter-egg by punching in Judgment Day August 29th - 1997 by doing the following....
press 8/enter
press 2/enter
press 9/enter
press 9/enter
press 7/enter
It will then say..... "The Future Is Not Set" , and play the hidden version

Double-dip from what? Are you talking double dipping Blu for Blu? DVD to Blu? BetaMax, VHS, Laser Disc, HD-DVD? Me thinks you need to better define your question.

yes I will buy the inevitable Kill Bill Whole Bloody Affair.

I had been waiting for it on dvd, and never bought the movies, but when they came out on Blu I just had to have them.
