Default Learned to drive carefully because of Polk

Just picked up two Polk TSi-300s for a pretty good price, and on the way home, I was going niiiiice and slow. I had those babies buckled in and everything! I'm excited about finally having a decent set of fronts! I eventually plan to move them to be backs in the future once I finish purchasing more, but for now they are awesome! I listened to them for 30 minutes and I love how nice and mellow they were. They seem to blend well with my Klipsch center which is a bit higher.

I blame this all on Driver King and JJxiv for hyping up Polk. Loved what I listened to! Thanks you two!

Oh they definitely rock! Watched Shrek, played some PS3, and caught Mr. Brooks. I'm in love! I just need to decide if I go with bi-wire or the 7.1 setup. Choices, choices!

Was interesting when I got the comment that people don't really get floor standing speakers anymore from the salesman, I don't see any other way to do it. I had some yamaha bookshelves as my fronts temporarily, while saving up for a new system, and they just didn't have the right oomph. Floors tandings just really bring everything together and almost make it look complete.

I just don't see how anybody could be happy without floor stands!

I went from Onkyo speakers to Polk A7's in the front. They were way better off the bat but.. It may be because I'm only using a 605 but I bi-amped them and they really came to life. It might be worth a try.
