Default Most Important thing i learned from the hd wars

When your a kid you dont care who made the movie, just that it's cool. Well now, i know from which studio it came from, which one has the best movies which ones suck (P/D). So i arrange my movies by studio now. Still have more Warner BD then any other studio, that might change with the FOX ones.

same here, starting to arrange it by studios. excpt mine, Walt Disney took control of 54.09% of all movies I owned. followed by fox, WB, and Sony.

Agree, I knew some movies because I just did. But now I know who makes all movies and then I go into IMDB to even see who has distribution rights and where they have them.

Is something wrong with me?

Yeah I know what you mean. I just recently started to notice/care which studio makes what.

Most of my movies are Warner, then Sony, then everybody else (Disney probably is 3rd)

Personally, I don't care who makes the movie (even today). I purchase the movies that I want, when I want and even with all the B.S. that is happening with Paramount - I will still buy the Paramount titles I want after the 18 months are up as they release their titles back to BD.

It's all about entertainment and I have little free time to be entertained. I would rather watch a BD movie (several times) that I have chosen for my collection with 4/5 PQ & AQ then buy a BD rated at 5/5 that I would only watch once. That is a waste of my hard earned money.

When it comes to the format war, I am Blu-Blooded thru and thru and let everyone I know, know about BD.

I arrange alphabetically. I've know studio breakdowns for so long, right back to when I was a kid and we had a massive library of Paramount movies since we got them free.

So...not really a new thing for me, so it's not really enlightening to me. It is interesting though, as you start to notice at least mild trends amongst how the studio's make movies. Granted, not set in stone trends or anything...there's still definite variety and difficulty in telling what comes from who...but you can certainly nail down to a small degree what certain studios like to do.
