Default Getting rid of trophys

I really like the trophy feature for playstation 3 games. I was wondering if there is any way that you can delete trophies for a game? The reason that I ask is because I would like to get rid of trophies for alone in the dark, however I don't see a delete option.

You cannot delete Trophies. They sync with the server so they'll always be there.

That's what I thought. You should have the option to delete or at least hide any trophies that you either don't want to see or don't want others to see.

I think that you should have the option to choose exactly what you want to display in a trophy collection, but that's just me.

I'm to sure why people want to turn them off. Is there an option on the XBox to turn off Achievements or something thats sparking this?

Iam pretty sure there is not an option on the xbox to turn them off. But there is an option to get rid of games played that you have no achievements for IE: An arcade demo that you did not purchase. I think you can hide the games played as well in your profile but the total gamer score still displays.

Is it because You don't like the fact that you haven't been able to get the trophies? Like me and Motorstorm? I wish I could delete that one...

I would like to delete the trophies for battle field bad company as I have never played the game. My brother's ps3 is set up on my psn account and last time he was in town he brought his to update it. The update allowed him to get trophies and he then played online getting trophies for the game. I have never played the game, but I have like 7% of the games trophies. Oh well

If the demo is sufficient evidence, then yes, it is that bad.

Alone in the Dark Developer #1: We need to create the greatest horror game ever.
Developer #2: Right.
Developer #1: How can we slam players into this intense experience right from the start? Like during the tutorial if possible.
Developer #2: We can start the game by having the character wake up in a life or death situation.
Developer #1: Yeah!
Developer #2: With no comprehension of what's happening.
Developer #1: Intriguing.
Developer #2: And here's the twist... because the character is groggy after waking up, the player has to push a button to make the guy blink.
Developer #1: Blink?
Developer #2: Yeah, he has to blink or the screen will get all fuzzy due to his eyes drying out or something.
Developer #1: Hell yeah! We're going with the blinking thing. In fact, let's make the first five minutes of the tutorial just walking and blinking.
Developer #2: That will show the players exactly the quality of game we're going to deliver.

It's funny because you get a trophy for NOT blinking.

I too wish there were some way to get rid of the 0% games on my list from rentals or ones that were just too hard to get any trophies for. Plus seeing as how a lot of games have them now, my list takes FOREVER to update the percentages when comparing with friends and I think it's only going to get worse with time unless they make some improvements to the sync feature.

I really can't see why you would want to intentionally delete trophies! As someone has already said if it's a really embarrassing game you might have some justification for not wanting people to know what you've been doing but other than that just keep them. As a side note, I have XBL achievements for Rumble Roses XX, and I don't feel even the slightest bit embarrassed to keep them. I'm more embarrassed about having a 360
