Well, Dan Brown as you may have heard, is at it again with this season's
runaway bestseller. This one will be BIG.

It's now day 2 of this book's release and it's hard to find a copy.
I've reserved my copy at the library already . . but it'll be XMAS when my name comes up.

Got my copy yesterday at Target! $16.99 FTW. My wife is going to start it first then I'll read it. The shelves were pretty empty when i was there. Looks like a record breaker!

I don't understand why some books get really popular. It seems like a crapshoot sometimes (Harry Potter, Twilight, Dan Brown stuff).

Eventually I might get around to reading this new book (whatever it's called), but luckily I don't feel any pressure to read it right away.

I still have to read the last 5 Harry Potter books first though. (I finished the 2nd one about 4 years ago).

Is the Mrs. a fast reader?

I just want to know - - -which D.C. monument is being discussed here?

The Lincoln Memorial? or most probably The Washington Monument?

Prof. Brown can really write books you MUST read in ONE NITE.

I asked Robin Cook (at a book signing show) why he thought Brown was able to do this little literary lunacy everytime he launches a new title and he just shrugged and said . . ." go away, will ya . . .I'm trying to sell MY books here not Dan's" . . . . . .

I actually broke-down and started reading the series (currently on book 3). After the horrid movie this summer, I just felt completely lost in the story and my kids kept telling me I had to read the books to understand what was going on. I suppose I could have skipped the first two books, as the movies were essentially verbatim. There's a little difference in the third, but not a lot yet.

I'll have to stop by Costco tonight on the way home and see if they have the Dan Brown novel. I really enjoyed the his previous four.

I really really want a movie of Deception Point. That's my favorite so far.

Harry Potter is a fantastic series... What isn't good about it? I've read them all many times.

I've read/saw Da Vinci Code and only recently saw Angels & Demons. I realized they were kind of the same formula. I hope this one is a little different.
