Bitstream or PCM on PS3 using RCA jacks for audio - Blu-ray Forum

So I have an older JVC 5.1 reciever that does Dolby Pro-Logic. Using HDMI out of PS3 to projector for video and the RCA jacks into receiver for audio. Does it matter if I am choosing PCM or Bitstream for audio output in the PS3 setup menu?
