Soul Men, Bernie Mac's next to last film(Old Dogs is his final) arrived on blu-ray yesterday, Anyone get a chance to see it? I am watching it now, pretty entertaining , ill wait til its over to give a full opinion. Also has Samuel L Jackson and Mike Epps in the film

The PQ looks great and its humorous thus far

Watching it tonight myself. I love Bernie Mac and it is sad that he's no longer here to entertain us.

havent seen this but I heard it was pretty funny. A review would be appreciated. RIP Bernie.

and speaking of Bernie, his cameo in Dont Be A Menace To South Central...is just flat out classic.

I didn't know he died till about a month ago. I was traveling to Canada the day it happened. Totally sad.. what a lovable dude.

I am curious about "Soul Men" as well.

I really enjoyed Bernie Mac as the voice of Zuba (Alex's father) in Madagascar 2. In the special features on this BD one can see a clip about the cast. The ensemble talks about Bernie (and we see him doing his voice recording in the studio as well).

B. Mac was riot in his brief, but hilarious role as a car dealership owner in "Transformers."

I am not 100-percent sure, but I believe that "Soul Men" was Bernice Mac's final film.

I haven't seen it yet, but I plan on doing so eventually. I liked a lot of Bernie Mac's work.
