Problems with John Carpenter's Thing - Blu-ray Forum

So im watching John Carpenter's the thing i get to the part with the blood testing and all of a sudden the picture freezes?? i tried skipping to the next chapter and nothing is there?? I tried every chapter after the part where it freezes and nothing is there when i go before it freezes the movie plays. I guess i have a bad copy

How do i go about returning this?? i bought it off of amazon it was the universal 3 pack with land and day of the dead.

Did you update your player with the latest firmware?

If that doesn't work:
Check out the other two movies, see if you have the same problem. Perhaps you got a damaged pack.

yeah my ps3 is up to date. I dont think 3/4 into a movie it would be a firmware issue. Im pissed its right at the best part

The same thing happened to me with Iron Man. That is why I never let my sister touch any of my things. It kept freezing and there was her big dumbass fingerprint on the disk.

My copy of The Thing works fine. My machine does not have the latest update. I don't have a burner program on my computer. I have encountered on rental discs freezing when sticky finger prints are present.
