Just wanted to announce - Blu-ray Forum

My geekdome. I am waiting the arrival of my new monitor 60's and cs2, I can hardly wait. Next month I am going to buy 2 12" subs from elemental.

I currently have an onkyo 606 with rt400 fronts an old 4" polk center and 4 polk rears. I am so excited to hear the differance

Then to finish it off for a while I am going to buy the panasonic 58 800u

Just wanted to tell someone who cared, everyone I know just looks at my with glazed eyes. It is usually the same look when I tell my wife about the new guitar equipment or Ht gear to add to our rig

I know what you mean about people not caring. It pisses me off that not one person cares at all (not even my friends) about the sound or video!

Wow, those two subs are going to completely overpower your other speakers lol. You dont even understand what a difference they will be... Grats! I'm going to get me one this summer.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. Why isn't it all you people living right around me, so I could run next door and across the street when I need to make comparisons or get good advice?

Its nice having her as much of a movie geek as me

As long as we get our 2 a day workouts in we will then spend the rest of the time watching BD's..

OK so the 60's are in and bi-amped. The detail is a lot more than I had with the rt400's from the 90's (single 6" and tweeter) tonight I will have my new cs2 and that will help the overall sound. The old center I have is like a vacuum of tone. You hear the speakers nice and full and then its a hollow spot, very mid-rangey.

After the cs2 is installed that should smarten up the front end a lot. I am very pleased so far.

One thing I did notice is that I am playing the thing much much louder than before but it doesnt sound as loud. This goes to show you that power and good speakers keeps the distortion down and adds to a fuller sounding rig.
