Ok, so sony press conference is over now, what all did they announce other than the 2 new players and the 200 disc player?

the 300, 500 and ES2000 are likely to be the only model available till CES. They'll all drop in price before Xmas..

That is pretty shitty if you ask me. People aren't going to adopt Blu-ray unless prices drop...considerably.

As long as sony maintain they're 65:35 ratio, do you think they'll have any incentive to do otherwise? I mean, if they keep that ratio until after Xmas, they're likely to announce 2.0 player witch will boost the price, and still sit on the PS3, witch is the only real reason why BR have this advantage right now..

Also need to remember that Sony is never the low cost manufacturer. So while the BDA & Sony may need low cost players on the market, I highly doubt Sony will be the maker... just doesn't fit their image.
