Default Sony BDP-S550 no sound from HDMI!
Is there anyone that had a problem with the HDMI connection that stopped producing sound?
I talked to Sony for an hour and a half with no success, i had to ship it to Sony for repair.
I had some sound trouble when going to the menu of "Dark Knight" disc on tuesday night, then the sound finally came on.
Wednesday night there was video but the sound never came back on when i put the "Dark Knight" blu-ray disc in.
It's been over a week and sony still has my player, i guess this is a "welcome to the bluray era".
I've noticed several inquiries on my post but no one has any comment about this porblem.

P.S. It's march 5 and my bdp-s550 is on it's way back to me, i will receive it monday the 9th.
i'll let you know whether it was repaired or it is still not producing sound via the HDMI output.
Well it's back and it is producing sound from HDMI, i have no idea what they did to correct the problem.
