Default Polk Audio Bronze Series Magnetically shielded?

Are these speakers magnetically shielded or not? I ask as I recently recorded a program on my SKY HD box, which is really near one of my towers. At the Time I was watching a DVD, and had the volume around 35-40, which is higher than my average of 30.
The recording program has a fair deal of static and jumpy bits, as though there was a bad signal at the time. But there was no weather conditions to suggest there was bad weather, so I'm wondering did the higher than usual volume cause it to mess with the HDD in the Sky box, ****ing up the recording?

Anyone know, or is this not possible? I'm only concerned as I don't want it to happen again, especially on one of my really important recordings.

Not familiar with the speakers but the center at least I was able to see is magnetically shielded.

I can't really see how it'd cause this. Either the magnet is so strong that it'll wipe an HD (doubtful) or it'll cause issues with a CRT. A recording really won't be affected. I'd say either bad signal strenght or a faulty broadcast.

Yeah I'm leading to that, I tried to recreate the settings when recording another program and it seemed fine afterwards. I'l keep an eye on this though, just in case.
