Does Any One Know What The 5.1 Speakers Bronze Av5, From Monitor Audio Are Like??????

Monitor Audio's BR5AV system is just a bundled package of speakers from their award winning Bronze speaker line. It consists of two BR5 standmount speakers for the fronts, the timbre-matched BR-LCR center speaker, 2 BR-FX di-pole surround speakers, and the BRW-10 subwoofer. I have installed BR5 speakers in a friend's home theater room, and they are fantastic. The fit and finish for the speakers is great, and you can choose from black ash, cherry, or walnut finishes.

I don't know what the bundle price is, but I would recommend comparing it to the individual prices. Sometimes you can catch the speakers on sale. In my friend's case we found the BR5s for around 20% off retail. Also, given the choice I would probably select a different subwoofer company, but overall it's a great speaker package. Go to Monitor Audio's web site and look at the Bronze speaker line in the review section. You'll see it is highly regarded as a "budget" speaker line.

Still, make sure you audition them in person, and also compare their sound to other brands in your price range. Nothing will beat what your ear hears. Monitor Audio speakers offer a great amount of detail and headroom with smooth midrange, extended treble, and tight controlled bass for their size.

You will find the build quality and sound of Monitor Audio speakers to be excellent. I have the Silver 8's and love them. However, depending where you live, it may be hard to find some to demo. Pretty much limited to stores in bigger markets.

What you get for what you pay for both the bronze and silver lines is excellent. However, if there's no price break on gettign the set, you might want to buy seperately and try other subs.

I'v read that two people said about look for a subwofer with other brand, is there anything wrong with the bronze subwofer????????
