If you want a more "fruity" type taste, try Starbursts or Skittles.

Starbusts are classic along with skittles also and there are tons of varieties. Red Vines are way better than Twizzlers to me. Sour Patch Kids are good too. Snickers, Twix, are good for chocholate candy too.

Twizzlers > Red Vines. Unless you like the taste of plastic.

This.

If you like peanut butter, I'd recommend anything Reese's.

Not to jack your thread, but you won't find any chocolates in the US that match anything in the UK. Quality Street Chocolates are delicious...it is a shame it costs a small fortune to import them to the US.

Here's a list of America's top selling candies:

Honestly I think most American candy is pretty bad.. Especially candy corn, twizzlers and most of their hard candy.. I don't know your motivations but unless you really need it I wouldn't pay premium to import it!

Sorry dudes - I love so much of your food but when it comes to candy and chocolate you really messed up somewhere along the way

I've always wondered what's the difference between these? I've never had Red Vines, only had Twizzlers. I thought they were the same thing basically.

Hershey Bars are the greatest candy of all time.

For cinammon hotness, I like Gimball's Lava Balls. http://www.amazon.com/Gimbals-Lava-B...rds=lava+balls

I like so many kinds of candy it's hard to list any.

the good chocolate here comes from local chocolatiers....the mass produced stuff is good...but wont compare to what you are used to most likely.

we do make some good fruity ones though

Skittles - my favorite
starbursts
Runts
Nerds

those are my favorites....

Thanks for all the replies guys. I went with some twizzlers and red vines just to see the difference, some Swedish fish, and some white reeses cups for now. I just wanted to try something different. I have always seen things like candy corn, twizzlers etc on Halloween films and the simpsons and things but have never tried any.

A lot of the chocolate products I found did not really appeal to me, I was more interested in chewy & hard sweets. Are Zero bars any good? my wife liked the sound of them?

One worrying one I came across was a sweet call Crackheads

My mom loves Zero bars. I haven't had one in forever though. Good choice on the White Reese's. Those are great.

Well for example, we actually have pure sugar in our fizzy drinks. None of that corn syrup crap that's actually worse for you.

Candy corn is the worst. Is Wonka candy available where you live? (I know that it's not exclusive to NA.) If not, Nerds and Laffy Taffy are two of my favorites.
