Great deal.

Thank you for listing the titles!!

I think I'll get I Robot and something else.

How long are they going to have that sale?

Hey OP, is the Planet of the Apes Burton version or the 1960's version

If it is the 60's, I am in for it plus Man On Fire. Very decent deal

What a crock, I thought Blockbuster didn't have I Robot in their system when I went to trade it in?! Bah!

In its defense, it does look pretty damn good on BD.

Can you buy just the one title for $15 if you like? The only one on the list I would like is Terminator, but if I had to get the 2 for $30 I guess I could also live with Predator even though it gets a fairly poor rating for PQ.

They had Pathfinder ticketed at $14.99 last week at my BB in Oakville, so I suppose you could get just the one.

Darn, I own it already. Would have been a great deal if it was the 60's version.

Robocop's transfer is bad, it is barely an upgrade from the DVD plus the disc has no extras. Personally, I would wait for the obivious double dip soon with extras and hopefully, a better transfer.

Wow that's a really great deal! I've been working with WHV on some blu-ray projects and now I'm totally hooked on building up my blu-ray collection. I'm definitely going to be picking up several of those.

Great deal, but I already have all of those titles, except Edward Scissorhands. So I don't have a choice. Planet of the Apes 1960? That would be an alternative. But I doubt it.

i know the OP was talking about canada but my blockbuster seems to have the worst selection in blu-rays and the ones they do have are very high priced... although...

i did get black hawk down there a couple weeks for 16.99.. i actually saw 3 copies of it there the night before and thought the price was great but had never read about the blu quality so i rented something and went home... i went back the next day and as i was buying the guy peeled of the price tag to reveal a 29.99 tag underneath and told me someone must have been messing around and moving stickers and wanted me to pay the 30... i pointed out that there were 2 more with the same price tag on it and he begrudginly sold it to me for 17 but he was taking the other 2 off the shelf as i left.

Yesterday I picked up Man on Fire and Point Break. Both of those titles were priced at 29.99. I asked the salesperson to check but he said that there is no 2 for 30 deal and it's just impossible for a deal like that to exist. Then I asked a different sales person and after checking something she said that only those titles that are priced 19.99 are part of the deal. After they scanned my movies the total came to 62.98. I insisted that Man on Fire and Point Break must be 3 for 30 as well. The first guy looked very pissed by that time but called another salesperson (maybe the supervisor) and they started checking something in the computer and some binder. I could not hear all what they said to each other but I heard the supervisor saying "Yeah, just promo one movie". The total came to 31.49. Good deal for me.

Thanks to the OP! It looks like in my BB it's just impossible for people who don't read this forum to find out and get that deal.

Fantastic 4 1 and 2 for me. May go back for X3 and Transporter (since I have the sequel)

There was no problems what so ever for me, and they knew everything about the deals.

Knowledgeable employees FTW!

i apoologize for your troubles masterball. unfortunatly with blockbuster it alot of the employees awareness on blu-rays depends on how "into it" they are. at my store our customers are lucky because me and my bud that work there are huge enthusiast and are excited about every deal that comes through and can advise them about it and other things as well like HDTV'S, BD-players. but i have worked at stores where none of the staff has these things and thus know nothing about blus, so they are uninterested to learn about the promos and pass that info on to their customers. which is why i post on here as often as i do, to give our customers.. actually, (all customers) for that matter, the headsup on any blockbuster promo so they can save the most $$, be satisfied and come back for repeat business and good deals.

Has this sale ended? I went to my local Blockbuster and the guys said the sale is over! They didn't seem to know what they were talking about so I thought someone here could tell me when it ended/ends. Thanks.
