just wanna give you all a heads up. Blockbuster has recently created a new low price point for previously viewed blu-rays. The titles that have currently been reduced to that price are available Monday feb9th and onwards, they are as follows:

Unfortunately the deal is on THOSE movies. Was at Blockbuster, Future Shop, and HMV today and just being aware that smaller retailers have such better deals I had no idea why I was even bothering to check.

thats great news. i used to buy alot of dvds pre viewed from blockbuster. i do hope that they will come in normal bd cases though.

yeah geez, you think ppl would be happy about low blu-ray prices. anyhow, yes they do come in retail bd cases. some blockbusters have them on display in the rental cases, but upon purchase they will switch them into the proper blu-ray ones for you. as for what titles are coming to that price point next week. not sure yet, but i will defiantly post them once they keep you guys upto date about it.

well they have all the titles on sale for reg $19.99 previously viewed (which is still a decent price for any bd movie) but the titles that are being reduced to the $12.99 price-point are ones that they have an overstock of and were not selling at $19.99. or if its an older title like american psycho/ terminator that do go for around $16 -$20 new. in the weeks/ months to come i'm sure we'll see some better names go on sale. (at least i hope so) i myself had my eye on flight of the pheonix that my store has used which i was hoping would be reduced but it wasnt to be this week.

Not to worry about BD cases. I've bought about 6 pv's from BBV and they all came with BD cases.

Maybe they'll start selling the tons of copies of What Happens in Vegas, 21, and Vantage Point.

if you guys are having a problem with not finding enough good movies on sale try going to a diff block buster, the one near me always has the exact same movies so i tried going to a blockbuster downtown and they had toooons more variety, just a heads up

if they don't you shouldn't have a problem unloading those for 15 each on craigslist or usedvictoria.com (or whichever city you live in!)
