Default My Humble HT

Please rate my HT. I know it is quite simple compared to the lavish setup some (most) people have here, but still its mine and I am proud. Glass doors were a must due to my son, I know they need cleaning but its hard to keep up with him

Gallery starts with the initial then moves to the TV hanging on the wall and speaker movement around.

Be kind when rating Any comments on what else can be done will be appreciated.

Look's good ~ nice & clean !!
The only thing I would do is bring you're front (l/r) speakers out from in back of the sub woofers ! They will sound much better !It will open you're front sound field up !!

Thanks CB!

Do you mean the small ones mounted on the wall? Or the floor standing ones? If the floor standing ones, do you think I should move the sub back? I have another sub as well (Sony HTIB one) on the left of the pic, currently hidden behind the sofa.

One other thing I know I need is some good movie posted .. I found some high res pics off the net which I will be printing soon and framing.

If you are going to print things off of the web, just make sure that these are not copyrighted otherwise, this is illegal unless you have permission. I am letting you know this as a photographer. The work belongs to the photographer or the business that has produced the work.

I actually like it a lot! Clean - organized - no clutter (important to me and my OCD)

Nice television, as well. I approve! Now with some better sound in the future...

Sorry to upset you .. not my intention .. I was talking about Hi-Res art that movie sites have for fans to download. Since they are allowing downloading for personal use I dont see any harm in printing them and using them for personal use .. I aint selling them Next time please PM me instead of replying to my thread .. not to be rude, hope you understand

Thanks .. Next is a good speaker system for sure but I was thinking probably a good receiver since my current doesnt support TrueHD and all the latest sound codecs.

Ok if the website offers permission to do this. I posted the original comments not just for you, but as a service and benefit for everyone here on the forum. This information is not really known by the general public and I want to protect individuals from potential problems down the line if it is discovered.

Just want to make a point, it is not illegal to print stuff from web sites to use for your own art, it is however illegal if you sell the prints and make money. If the images on the web are not watermarked and viewable at a very high res by all means print it and frame it for your room, just don't sell them.

Not in front of the stand ! To the side of stand .Keep the speaker forward so the stand does not block any sound waves .

Some websites, including my own state that the work is copyrighted; work with a copyright notice can not be used legally without permission. Additionally, in my case there is also a copyright notice and my name watermarked in my images. Unfortunately, from experience I have had people link to use my work on their websites without my permission to use the work. In some instances due to the way the work was used, I was forced to take action against the user who was approached and they refused to request permission for usage of the work.

I mean the tower speakers you have next to stand ! the stand should be behind the front of the tower not in front of it ! Yes you can put the sub behind the towers as long as you are not blocking A bass port on the tower !

That's an interesting area for the T.V. etc.... is this a basement? was this area designed for a T.V. etc... or something else? It's nice.... I just noticed it is framed out etc... and looks like they would be Bay-Windows, minus the windows

looks good though.... Future plans???

Its the basement, the floor above is the kitchen with a walkout to the backyard. Where the tv is right now, above is the door to the backyard.

For the future better speakers and a proper receiver with the latest codecs for TrueHD etc.
