Call of Duty 4 vs. Killzone 2 - Blu-ray Forum

Now that we've had the chance to play Killzone 2 and Call of Duty 4, which FPS do you think is better overall. Personally I liked Killzone's campaign more than COD 4's, but COD 4's multiplayer is way better in my opinion. I voted for COD 4 just because I still play it til this day and I don't think I'll be playing Killzone for going on 1 year and a half.

I voted for Killzone 2 because of the multiplayer on it has taken Console Gaming for FPS to the next level for multiplayer.

I'm still up in the air about this one. I've been playing so much KZ2 multiplayer that I've only gotten to the 3rd level of the singleplayer! That being said, CoD4's singleplayer engaged me more than KZ2 but the multiplayer on both is superb. Right now, slight edge to CoD4, but I'll hold my final judgment to later.

(First of all, you may want to make sure the mods are down with this. It's just asking for flame wars.)

I voted CoD4. It has been so addicting since I first got it over a year ago. Didn't really get down with KZ2, hooked on CoD4. The community alone is a testament to the great gameplay of Call of Duty 4.

I'm with you on this one Max. COD4 all the way. Killzone2 multiplayer is horrible. I've only played it a bit and it already pissed me of. How can a grenade landing within a couple feet not kill em. I have heard about thew shotty taking about 2 even 3 shots at point blank to kill someone. Not on COD4. The single player from what I have played is better on KZ2 but I'm more of a multiplayer guy. So hands down COD4. I can't wait for CODMW2

If the big new game in 18 months is being compared to KZ2 over everything else I'll change my vote.

Yeah, I crept up behind this guy on the map with the bridges and sand. I hit him with the shotgun twice, blood flew, but he just stood there. The 3rd time was a charm. It rarely happens, but can be frustrating when you get killed because of it.

The assault class has armor which doubles your health.
