Shooting wrapped on Halloween 2 plus first image of Michael! - Blu-ray Forum

Shooting officially wrapped last night for Rob Zombie's Halloween 2, his reboot of the franchise created by John Carpenter back in 1978 that follows a soulless killer by the name of Michael Myers. "Well, after 35 days of snow, freezing rain, fire ants, mud and blood we are done! The cast and crew kick ass beyond ass to bring you the most demented Halloween ever! In less than five months Michael will be back in your face! And speaking of face... here is your first glimpse of one of the many faces Michael 2009." The new film arriving in theaters August 28 picks up right as the first remake ended, following the aftermath of Michael Myers' murderous rampage through the eyes of the sister he hunted.

IMO, Rob Zombie's "Halloween" is the best remade horror franchises ever. I can't wait to see this

August? Why not reales it on HALLOWEEN... cause it's called... you know... HALLOWEEN!

Jesus 5 months? they better not have to do Reshoots! This movie'll be screwed if they have to! well i take it back. This is a zombie movie, it's screwed already. Mikey looks stupid.

Not many people liked Halloween. I saw it at an advanced screening 5 months before it came out. walked out in the rape scene. Just stupid. Heard the theatrical cut was better and I am going to rent it to give it another shot soon.

I'm very happy to know that shooting is done and Rob can start Post-production on this baby! I am one of the few fans on here of his work, and am very much looking forward to this. Mikey looks awesome.

And wow about if you just come here to ***** about Zombie, you don't click on the threads involving him or hit reply, and just shut the **** up

I don't care what the people say, I really liked the remake of Halloween. Zombie did a great job with the atmosphere and I liked how they did the origin of Michael Myers.

I will definitely be checking it out

They released the last Zombie Halloween in August - the marketing guy for these movies needs to be fired.

Releasing Halloween in August would be like releasing a Chrismas movie in September - why would you do that?!

Oh well, either way not interested.

I'm thinking so the home video release will be out in time for watching it on Halloween. With it having been released a few months earlier it is still fresh on some peoples minds. Just a thought.

Actually, the last Halloween had a bigger opening weekend than any previous installment, and it was released in August, so they have a strategy.

I think Mikey looks awesome and I'm looking forward to a brand new Halloween story. It's gonna rock!

Sweet can't wait for this movie two awesome movies so far for my bday month. Halloween 2 and Inglorious Bastards.
Two more films I'm waiting for from Rob-The Haunted World of El Suprebeasto and Tyrranosaurus Rex.

I can't wait for this!

I don't know why Zombie gets all the hate he does cuz I love his movies. HO1000C was different but refreshing at a time when horror was very bland. The Devil's Rejects was a refreshing smack in the face of disturbed family values.

Now Halloween; while the original is probably 1 or 1a in my top horror movies, I thought the reimagining was very good. A nice backstory that is updated to interact with todays underpriviledged? youth. But to each his own. Just had to get that out there.

By the way did I say I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS!!!!
