Stargate question ??? - Blu-ray Forum

I have a Pioneer BDPLX 71 player, today I purchased a copy of STARGATE the movie but for some reason it wont play "CANNOT PLAY THIS DISC" appears on the display panel, has anyone experienced this problem before ???
any help will be appreciated, thanks

have you tried updating to the latest firmware for your new player?

Weird, my US copy plays fine in my region A PS3.

Did you check if the region of the disc matches with your player's region? Otherwise, as suggested, I would try a firmware update.

Yeah I have the latest firmware update which is 1.25 & yes the disc is an official region B release, cant seem to figure out whats wrong
