Default Newbie to Pioneer--PRO-111FD vs. PRO 101FD help!

So I'm going to bite the bulllet and make an investment on a Pioneer display, because they're pulling out of the division. I really want multisystem support (PAL AND NTSC) and I see that the PRO-101FD will support all signals, but I have some questions:

1. Will I be able to view PAL video signals on the PRO-101FD in the USA, or would I have to take it to Europe/use a European pronged outlet/converter?

2. Are there any features that a TV like the 111FD has that a monitor like the 101FD would not have?

"Features", not really. What you don't have:

1) TV Tuner;
2) Speakers;
3) Pedestal stand.

The rest of the features are functionnaly identical.

So you can't get sound without an external hook-up? And what about a regular (coaxial) cable input?

No, you can't get sound without an external sound system. As for "regular (coaxial) input", I assume you mean an input for a TV tuner; this is not provided. Your only inputs are;

4 HDMI
1 DVI
1 Component
1 Composite
1 VGA PC input.
