Default KURO Picture Settings

I just got my Kuro. The Picture is just amazing!! Question: It seems a little dark. (I know that suppose to be a good thing). Is there a setting I should be using? Opt, movie, sport, game, standard? What settings are supposed to be?

I sometime get a flicker..?? What's up with that?

I'm amazed at the KURO. I was just wondering do I really switch to the sport mode to watch my CLEV CAVS? LBJ RULES!!!

I have to wait about 2 months to get my Kuro calibrated.... 7 weeks to go

What model do you have. One thing you can do to speed up break in would be to download the thumbdrive slides and run the slides on the settings from AVS and DNice when you are asleep or not at home that is what I did and I got my break in done in like 8 days between thumbdrive and full screen watching, just set your set to screen size auto.

Also on the darkness what were you watching before, TV that is, I had a Samsing DLP and I had turned the brightness up on it but I did not know what true black was before I got the KURO. It definetly is a darker screen but once you get the break in done and have it calibrated the picture does get even better just as you proceed through the break in and after calibration wowowowowow.
