Post any really great buys for their value or just flat out deals on Blu-Ray disc you have found lately. Not players, televisions, speakers, etc. Just movies please.
What I have found lately: -Pinocchio: 70th Anniversary Edition. $26.99 at Walmart. It's a 3 disc set which includes a blu-ray copy of the film, a blu disc of high-def extras, and a copy of the new DVD itself (which is already $16.99 at Walmart). That IS a great deal. Fantastic Four, Shoot em' up, A Clockwork Orange, Alexander, 28 Days Later, Shrek 3, and more titles are only $14.99 at Walmart. Some Saw films, Reservoir Dogs, The Desent,The Punisher, etc, are only $10.00 dollars at Walmart. Costco has a great selection of blu-rays for only $18.00. (These are titles like Batman Begins and 300.) If you enjoyed Brokeback Mountain it just came out and it is priced at just $19.99 at walmart on Blu-ray. Sorry, mine are pretty simple that most people know about, but I urge people to buy blu's at costco; you can't beat those prices for top releases. Your finds? |

I am still in high school and don't shop online except for computers and related items. I buy most of my blu-ray's at walmart; which is where I purchased my player. I also use Costco for non-recent BDs (best prices). With that being said, $26.99 for Pinocchio at my local Walmart is the lowest it is getting in my town. I have borders, which it is probably around $40, I had Circuit City until it went out of business, it would of been $35. I have Target, I actually saw it there; $29.99. and my Costco sold it for $29.99. Blockbuster had a copy for purchasing; $39.99. Fye; $45.00. Like I said, for not shopping online the 3 disc set is nice brand new for $26.99. I know I could of got it cheaper online, but I have no credit/debit card and therefore when I shop online I have to use prepaid visas, which is a hassle. Plus, I don't like getting things shipped to my house because my mail woman is constantly giving our mail to other people and giving us their mail.
I think I justified why I think it is a deal. |
