Default Decide on surrounds

Well, I'm buy the Polk CS10 center channel and the Polk Tsi100 bookshelf's. I really need some help on surrounds, I would Like something smaller than the Tsi100 but are still going to match the sound quality and output. I was thinking the T15 but they are the overall same size and only $18 cheaper for me. Should I just go with another pair of the Tsi100's I have no idea so I want your opinions. Thanks in advance.

I would go with TSi-100s that way when you upgrade the front 100s to 300s or 400s you can just expand the other 100s into a 7.1 system.

+1, this is what I have and they sound great. I strongly recommend going with the TSI100's for the surrounds and back surrounds.

I agree, TSi100's are sweet as surrounds. I have them & they sound great.

The only thing I'll need is a pair of good speaker mounts to go with them. I have a set of the crappy plastic one. Any recommendations on those would much appreciated.

or you could use the current tsi100 speakers you have now for your surrounds and buy some larger speakers, like monitor 50's, for your mains. your gonna spend another 150 or more on the tsi100's, could be worth it up upgrade. just throwin a different POV out there

I can pickup the Polk Tsi100 for $80 a pair through the polk accommodation at my work.

I thought about the Tsi300 they are $160 a pair.

What is the difference between the monitor series and the Tsi series?

I believe the Tsi is simply a better looking speaker than the Monitors. For all intents and purposes, they are basically the same speakers other than that.

thats a really good deal on those 300's. if you have the space for them id jump on that. again just my opinion, go for what suits you best. Just like Marquoz said, only difference is cosmetics. Only reason i mentioned the monitor 50s is b/c they can be had for alot cheaper than the Tsi300's. But not in your case.

I have TSi's all the way around in my setup & they are suprisingly good. The SQ is wonderful. The TSi's are just the newer Polks & ya I think they look better too.

I actually needed something small for the mean time for my L/R surrounds, so I went with the Polk RM101's. They can be had for $49 a piece on Amazon. They do get the job done and for their very small footprint, they put out some great sound. Once I move and get the RTi A5's for my fronts, I am going to move my RTi A1's to the rear and move the 101's to the back or use them as a base start up for a bedroom set up.
