Does anyone have the numbers of total BD and HD-DVDs released over all regions? Who has the greater number of films?

As of 10-25-2007 (Including Pre-Orders) Based on Amazon.com data

HD-DVD: 427

Blu-Ray: 536

A quick check of my release list for Blu-ray (see my sig) shows:

333 Blu-ray movie titles in print
34 Blu-ray movie titles out of print (but most still available)
40 BD-R titles available from independent studios

So, in the US... 407 titles available today, with another 107 titles formally announced with streetdate. No idea about the rest of the world... or HD DVD for that matter.

A guy on another forum I frequent (who is a HD-DVD supporter) said the last time he shopped at Circuit City the salesman told him to start shopping on Amazon.uk to pick up Blu ray exclusive movies on HD-DVD as they have no restrictions. He is now telling everyone that fact to encourage more people to go HD-DVD.
I know that the same applies in reverse, but many of the Blu rays are restricted.
