Sweet. I locked in the $41.99 price. I'm very much looking forward to this, I loved season 2 - it runs like a movie, because they shoved four years of plot into one short season.

I have had it pre-ordered for a long time as well. I have it locked in at $39.89, but that's because it was in my Gold Box one day when it was at $41.99. Really looking forward to this coming out, obviously.

+1

Joss did a great job tying up the series in such short time. I was watching one of the early panel discussions where he said that he planned for Dollhouse to have a 6 year arc ....stupid FOX pulled the plug on that one

It seems like everything Joss touches on FOX is doomed to an early death. After the Firefly debacle, why he keeps coming back to them is beyond me.

+1 - I don't have season 1 and often wait for shows to finish to get complete boxsets - I'm surprised one has not been announced for this... too bad the BD is not available in the UK (which is getting a complete set DVD release), I may just end up buying them separately in the end because I want to re watch it!

Season 2 was surperior to season 1, the last few episodes were quite rushed, but I completely understand why they did it. I just was often watching it thinking it was sort of a 'this is what we were trying to do over the course of 5ish seasons' kind of thing. I wasn't so keen on the first half of season 1, so this show will always be a bit of a flawed/unrealised masterpiece, but I do rather like it...

They're too busy with Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus and Mega Piranha to even bother with real shows.

I enjoyed the last five eps or so even tho the plot twist at the end was stupid. I got s1 for $26 and will be looking for a similar number for s2

The second half of season two is great television, Whedon at his best. The ratings would have been much better if the network had not interfered so much early in the show, forcing Whedon to dumb down the concept.

I'm really liking Haven. I hope the show makes it atleast a few years. I was also glad they picked up Merlin.

If I remember correctly, some of the last episodes were only available for purchase (Amazon, iTunes). I didn't know it at the time, and was very confused by the plot-jumping caused by me only watching the broadcast episodes. Only after I watched those pay shows did the ending make some sense.

I thought that was just the last episode of season 1, which was only on the DVD/BD (and itunes maybe)... the rest were all broadcast were they not?

I believe all of s2 was broadcast. In s1 they didnt broadcast Epitaph One which would have been the last ep, or the original pilot, which FOX made Whedon redo which is becoming a bit of a tradition.

You're right. It's the last episode of S1 that was on iTunes, not S2.

I just remember being confused a bit by the story until I realized that there was another episode that I hadn't seen.

You're correct. I confused S2 with S1. I'm very confused sometimes

I'm really liking Haven as well. SyFy might have actually earned their bad rep, but some of their shows are actually good.
