Looking to buy Budget Projector

I've started looking around at buying myself a commercial home theatre projector. First and formost I'll state that my budget is at maximum $3000AU. I'm looking to get some opinions on projectors that are worthwhile looking into (and why if possible), that are available in Australia as I do not wish to import from overseas and also am only looking to buy new (as I would like to have warranty on the projector).

The projector that has caught my eye most of all is the EPSON TW3000 which costs a bit under $2700. I have demo'd this projector on several occasions and have been very impressed and am seriously considering it. In other countries this projector is called the Epson 6100. However there almost certaintly are other projectors I should be looking at and am interested to here some opinions.

Hence i'm looking to hear any thoughts on this projector or any other projectors that you would recommend. Lastly I should add i'm not interested in buying a 720p or 1080i model, i'm looking only at buying a 1080p model.
