Collectibles market for Blu-ray discs?

People collect all kinds of things from stamps to wines to dolls to signed prints and on and on. Many times, as each collection grows, there are items that have appreciated in value over time and a lot of collectors search out these items to add to theirs.

I, for instance, have a significant vinyl LP collection and have several of which I purchased 2 copies. As an example, I have a sealed copy of Bob Dylan: Unplugged, The Beatles Anthology (all 3)and a few others. I bought doubles of these with the thought they may appreciate in value as they weren't widely released (total copies in print). Vinyl releases also increase in value if you have first-pressings, errors on labels, etc....condition, of course, being of primary importance.

Do you think that Blu-ray discs will eventually see such a market develop?
