Default GTA San Andreas Problems

Anyone else having problems playing San Andreas on their PS3? After the 1.8 firmware update, I decided to try out how much better San Andreas would look. After I started a new game it would just stay in a black screen and pretty much freeze up on me. I couldn't even bring the 'quit game' screen while pressing the PS button. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

You must have a bad disk or something cause mine works perfectly and only has noticeable issues which it did say it would have in the EU B/C list.

Now that you mentioned it... yeah I do see some scratches on it. I guess this is what happens when you let friends borrow them.

I absolutely despise lending my games or movies out toi either family or friends. I practically will have to be shamed or have a gun put to my head to give em my games or movies.

I hate their mentality of it's only a disk and this, that, the other and blatant disregard for ones property in general. Hence why i wish most times i was an only child and had family like me, who knows how to game good and take care of their entertainment realted goods, e.g. games n movies.

I learned never to do that again after I lost a couple of SNES games back in the day.

I tried that game as well after the update, looks pretty bad...think I'll just stick to playing it on the ps2 and an SD monitor
