Does anyone buy previously viewed blu's at Blockbuster? The one I usally go to started selling the previously viewed.

Some of the titles are Kung Fu Panda, Casino Royale, Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Cloverfield...priced at $12.99.

I would assume an even less problem with the BD's because of their scratch resistance. Give em a shot!!

Those are good prices for those titles, but I won't consider buying anything used from a rental store.

Default Blu's at Boockbuster

I have bought six blu's at BB. No problems. I always check them first for obvious scratches, breaks, etc. There is a 30 day guarantee too. The only bad point is they are in a standard DVD case. The Blu case cover art IS included. No internal literature either. I bought some blank blu cases and took care of that problem. Also they cost $16.99 here in San Diego. lol.

Where did you get the blanks? The standard dvd cases just don't do it for me.

I bought The Mist from a pawn shop the other day for $10 that was in the BB case and had the logo stamped on the artwork. It worked just fine for me.

In my 10 year history buying DVDs from Blockbuster (and used in general, for that matter) I've never had any major problems. I wouldn't foresee a problem with Blu's since they're that much harder to scratch than DVDs.

My friend worked at Blockbuster, and she noted how if a disc was too scratched they would simply toss it and not sell it. I don't know if this was general policy, but at least at the few local locations growing up I would never have an issue buying a used disc. If I saw those films for those prices, I'd go for it.
