Isn't it more like "other 4 million and change"? M$ has shipped over 10 million 360s, this is true, but much of them are duplicates due to breakage or are sitting in stores/warehouses. Actual sellthrough, according to Wikipedia, is something like 5 million in America, maybe 2 million in Europe, and virtually negligible in Japan.

Exactly. MS has there exclusives. Sony has theirs. Why don't 360 owners shut their trap already and play with what they got. Talk about 360 owners being greedy. GET OVER IT!!!

Its because they need more Playstation style games to actually make a dent WORLDWIDE. As it stands, they are mostly US Based, doing semi-poorly in europe, and a DISASTER in japan. PS3 will be able to do all 3 regions and surpass the 360 in that way. Also, once FF13/VS13, God Of War 3, Socom, MGS4, Wipeout, and the tons of other sony exclusives come out.. Really, the 360 will start to look dated and again as the "shooter" console, just like it was last gen.

I mean really, laughing at people because it seems ridiculous to say that Sony paid Squaresoft to remain exclusive with the new FF game? Everyday on this forum someone posts how M$ (like they are the only company out for money) pays this person and this dev and this movie company to do whatever is in their best interest and that's not ridiculous?

If you think that Sony never sweetened the pot for another company to work in their favor, that is being pretty naive. The fact that Microsoft does it on such a large scale seperates them in unethical buisness practice by extent only; but certainly not intent. Big buisness is about making big money period.

The truth of the matter is that it is GREAT that the PS3 is keeping FF exclusively. That's one more awesome reason to be excited that I own a PS3...

But, Microsoft has an awesome lineup of games coming out this year that are going to be exclusive to the 360, and there is nothing wrong with owning an Xbox 360 and being excited about it either...

o'l i agree nothing wrong, with owning a xbox360..but when someone who works in the xbox area at Microsoft said "one down 2 more to go" ie : after DMC: 4 became multi-platform.its nice to see the same rumors put to rest..were takeing all your exclusives. after that the playstation 3 will be dead in the water.

they saved the 360 owners the trouble of looking like fools for having to switch discs every couple hours of play...

even though I don't play RPG's anymore, it's still good to see them stay exclusive so more PS3's are sold...thus allowing more BD owners...
