I am itching for a pirate themed movie but wasn't too hot on the Disney series. If any aren't on blu-ray are there any in the pipeline?

Are they making a fourth Disney one?

Well a 4th POTC suppose to be in the works but nothing for sure as yet.There is Pirates 1&2 for the grown up part of ya

theres only one other pirate movie id watch besides PotC which is Cutthroat Island and i dont think its out on blu yet

Well it is the R-Rated version, so it's not really any more explicit than your typical Skinemax movie.

Roman Polanski's Pirates was just released by TF1 in France. It is a Blu-ray steelbook and is locked to region B (unsure if you have a region free player).

If you are into anime... there is the 8th One Piece movie... though unfortunately the one released is one of the worst films in the series. =/

Unfortunately, one of the best pirate themed movies (outside of Errol Flynn) never even made it to disk, let alone Blu-ray--

But, if you haven't thrown out your VHS player--or have a library with a healthy VHS collection--you might still be able to get Kevin Kline's 1983 "Pirates of Penzance" on eBay.

Bah! The Best Pirate Movie is 1982's The Pirate Movie with Christopher Atkins and Kristy McNichol! Its Out on DVD and hopefully we will get a Blu Ray Someday.......
