PowerDVD9 Ultra and Kung Fu Panda - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone successfully played Kung Fu Panda

with PowerDVD9 Ultra? Okay until I select play movie, then player freezes with menu on screen. Strange enough the sound track from movie is still playing even though I have no picture. Task manager says PowerDVD9 Ultra is not responding and only way to terminate it is to end task.

Same happens with PowerDVD8 Ultra

VGN-AR730E/B playing Kung Fu Panda fine in PowerDVD 9 Ultra with the 1530 Patch.

Thanks dad - Ultra is patched to 1530, but at least I now know it can work. Using GGW-H20L drive with YL05 firmware which I beleive is the latest, could be that I guess or compatibilty issue with Vista64.

Anyone else using the same drive as me and have no problem?
