Default another noob question!!

i just ordered my speakers and receiver. now im sitting in my room tryin to think of where everythings going to go. im a lil low on space and i was wondering if it was ok to place the receiver on top of the sub next to the tv. or is the sub going to vibrate it into peices???

i wouldnt do it. the receiver needs to be on a shelf.

Do not place the receiver on top of the sub. That is going to be way too much vibration. The vibrations will cause the receiver to rattle, not to mention you might break some of the internals of the receiver loose if you do that. Find another spot
