Default Help!! Blu-ray playback problems

I just upgraded my sound card to a Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty Titantium and now when I watch Blu-rays, only the video skips about once every 60 seconds and the sound remains flawless. I'm having the same problem with DVDs. Here are my specs:

Windows XP SP3
AMD Phenom x4 9550 (2.2ghz)
ATI Radeon HD 3650
4GB Ram
SB X-Fi Fatal1ty Titanium
LG GGC-H20L Blu-Ray Player

I upgraded all of the drivers including the BIOS. I have the lastest BD firmware. I also have the latest version of PowerDVD 9. Any help would be appreciated!

What type of motherboard do you have? Is the motherboard onboard sound on? You might want to roll back to older drivers. Sometimes, older drivers work better than newer ones.
