maybe its just me, but i have a LG 47in with the 120hz refresh rate, and when sitting on my recliners the picture looks pretty amazing, but as soon as i step behind my chars or at least get further away from the screen the picture almost looks different. Has anyone else maybe noticed that, just curious..

Most tv's refresh at 60hz, so a 120hz is double the refresh rate and makes for a better refresh rate, hell imagine what the 240hz looks like..
but yeah some have said it makes a movie appear to have the look of film, instead of video if that makes any sense. I personally like it on some movies like transformers and crank where it is bright and flashy as shit. but i agree, some movies it doesn't do much justice. To my question above, i was just curious, it image difference is probably due to the true-motion or whatever. |
