I bought two of the Atlantic "Manhattan" units and built them into one. Its tall, not deep at all, and will hold 200+ movies along with other stuff.

I wouldn't call them a RACK but I use Target's storage pantries. They take about 30-40 minutes to put together and they each hold at least 180 blu-rays.

I don't have pics, but a single Manhattan has (I think) 5 shelves to be around 4 foot tall, about 24" wide, and maybe 6" deep. When I should have used the top shelf from the first unit I just kept adding shelves from the second unit and I think I'm around 7 feet tall w/ 9 shelves. If there are kids around it has straps and drywall anchors to attach it to the wall.

I have a space about 30" wide, so my big towering wall of Blu is pretty sweet in my basement.

Check my HT gallery. My Dad and I built mine which will hold up to 1,500. Cost us 110.00 to build. Fairly easy to do and the biggest bang for your buck.

I have the Atlantic Elf Jr.....

http://www.amazon.com/Atlantic-3533-...d_bxgy_e_img_b

The thing I like about these is that they are very sturdy and stackable, so they can grow as your collection grows.

But I just noticed that they have the Atlantic Elf, which is basically just two Elf Jrs stacked (duh) for only $15 more - $57.85 - hmmm.

http://www.amazon.com/Atlantic-CD-St...p_ob_e_title_3

The Atlantic website lists the Elf for almost twice that so something is wrong somewhere. I don't need the Elf since my collection is just beginning, but I wish I would have seen this before. I would've just thrown the top half in storage until my collection expanded. And I thought I did my research before buying things

Yeah, I think they finally realized their mistake They were missing out on close to 50 bucks for every 2 Elf Jrs sold...I mean why buy the Elf Jr at all if the Elf is only 30% more

I use a Black tall shelf from Wal-Mart. I think it was maybe $30, but it'll probably hold a few hundred. Simple to put together too.

one thing i hate about the ones at Target (i have 2) is the paint is awful. I spent quite a while going over all the side of the panels with a wet rag cause the paint was so loose it was coming off all over my hands. good testament that you get what you pay for.
