Does anyone know if there any plans of releasing the first Resident Evil on blu-ray? If so, when? I've searched and had no luck.

Much like several other films, including Kill Bill and Aladdin, there's been packaging and/or demos revealed, but no time frame. We'll be seeing them all soon enough.

There was a survey on Sony's site that asked what movies should be released, and RE was one of the choices. Don't know how much that would weigh in on the choices that are made as to when movies will be released.

it's a Sony movie...it will be released soon enough....much like all the movies we've seen on superbit...

speaking of superbit....where is Snatch?...I love that movie..

In Australia Kill Bill volume 1 and 2 are due on the 8th of August

Nothing on resident evil yet only resident evil apocalypse - released on June 19th here.
