Default Resident Evil 1, where are you?

Is anyone else having trouble finding Resident Evil 1 in brick & mortar stores?
No place in my town has it in stock, and even checking bestbuy.com it says "limited supply" and walmart.com says it's sold out.
Is this movie just late getting released?

I know the Best Buy here in Sterling doesn't have it, but they didn't have Blade Runner when it came out either.

On the bright side, they had row after row after row after row of Blu-Ray, and only a couple of rows of HD-DVD! I was astounded, as a couple of weeks ago it was only row after row of blu-ray.

On the downside, I wanted to purchase:

Resident Evil - didn't have
POTC:AWE - didn't have
Clockwork Orange - didn't have
Routinelle (whatever the spelling is) - didn't have.

Oh, and I got the last copy of RE:Extinction (they had several boxed sets left).

I ended up with Extinction, War, and Shoot Em UP (Thanks OokieSpookie for the $20 off for Reward Zone coupon!).

I guess this could mean blu-rays are selling so fast they can't keep them in stock!

I was going to buy it yesturday, but none of the Best Buy stores in the Miami area have it. Better for me, it will probably be part of a BOGOF in the future.

I picked it up today at Walmart for $18.xx. Walmart.com does report it as sold out but I've heard of several people picking it up in the store.

When I bought the box set yesterday, I didn't see any of the first resident evil by itself.

I just ordered 300 on Blu-ray on Wal-Mart.com about 1 hour ago and the first Resident Evil was instock, because I want it as well, but I am going to wait a week or two and get the whole trilogy.

I guess you're saving up or something but you realize the trilogy is on sale now and will be back at retail tomorrow or shortly after.

If you have a slew of Walmart B&Ms in your area I suggest hitting them all. My first Walmart I went into on Tuesday had about 8 copies of RE1. My Worst Buy was stocked with tons of the trilogy packs and Extinction. Their computer said they were to have received RE1, but they didn't have them or the store associate was a complete idiot. As for Circuit Shity, they didn't have RE1 or Extinction on BR. I hope you have luck finding it because RE1 just looks incredible. Some of the darker scences have a bit of grain, but for being an older title, it really is a step up!!
