Arrow Star Trek clip aired with LOST 29.04.09...

Did anyone see the AMAZING Star Trek clip during Lost last night?!

It's amazing, and it's been pulled from just about everywhere it's been posted. Not sure how long it will be up. Check it out while you can!

It was cool. Certainly got me pumped.

My question is: what was up with all "what did you see" commercials?

My guess they were from the new Sci Fi movie District 9 coming out this Summer. They've been really trying to push the viral marketing. The trailer will be attached to Wolverine (so I hear).

Check out more here.

I think the "District 9" theory is incorrect.

I think those are the commercials for a new series premiering in the fall. I don't recall the title, but the series is based on this fantastic book called "Flash Forward" by Robert J. Sawyer.

In the book, an experiment at the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) causes everyone in the world to black out for approximately 2 minutes. In those two minutes, everyone experiences a "Flash Forward", and sees their individual future at a specific moment over 20 years into the future. There are a ton of consequence as a result of this global blackout, not the least of which are many, many direct deaths from the flash forward (think car crashes, open untended surguries, etc.). The largest consequence is how people react to what they saw in their future (or didn't see).

Seriously, amazing book, and I personally am extremely hyped to see this show. Anyhow, I think these commercials are tied to it.
