Default MarcosG's Home Theater (Condo)

Started out with this hobby back in 2007, but back then it was all about Video. This was when i bought my first HDTV 57" Mitsubishi 1080p DLP Rear Projection TV. Great Picture Quality, but lamp replacements every year were a turn off...so I replaced it in 2008 with my Sony 52XBR4 and I'm still lovin it!!!

2008 was also when I was introduced to the Audio aspect of this hobby...and it has never been the same since...

This is how I started out:
Bose Acoustimass 10 Series IV

Onkyo TX-SR505/Onkyo Upconvert DVD/PS3-60gb

Then I found the forums on Bluray.com and replaced my audio with this:

Onkyo TX-SR805

Dayton Audio Speaker Cables for my front three

And Finally I recently wall-mounted my LCD using Monoprice wall-mount

Right side view of the wall mount

PS3-60gb

Wii

Seating with my Sub in between and my QS-8 surrounds

Very nice Marcos!!
Much better with the TV mounted.. how do the QS8's sound? I was going to try them out before deciding on my ADP's but ended up going with those instead since the price almost came out to the same. But I still wonder and wish I could hear them - I've read good things from people that own them.

I bet your whole system sounds great. Nice and clean and I see you got the ED too - must shake the condo?!

Nice setup!

This made me realize that I never took the grilles off my QS8s... (I prefer with the grilles on)

How is the back positioning of the QS8s working for you?

Magazines on top of the eD?? Blasphemy! LOL joking. Beautiful setup Marcos. Those speakers look fantastic. Well done upgrading from Bose. I just proved to three of my friends last night that Bose is nothing compared to a well placed setup of separately purchased speakers/receivers, etc.

As the person above said, you should get a universal remote to tie everything together!

Another possible upgrade is ambient lighting. Your TV is just far enough from the wall so that lighting will look really nice.

DLS and JohK: The QS-8's sound great. They definitely complete the experience. They do a good job of enveloping you, while seated and watching a blu

Aerodude: You are absolutely right! I am definitely wanting to pic one of those Logitech Remotes up. That will be one of my next purchases for 2009

Tilapiah6: I know it probably looks tacky, but I needed to do something since my sub did take the place of one of my end tables Plus, it deters any of my guests from placing their drinks on the ED

Thanks to all for the compliments and advice. I got most of my ideas and recommendations from people on this site
