Laserdisc, Where? How? To Purchase? - Blu-ray Forum

I posted this here because I could not find another place that made senses.

I got about 40 Laserdiscs, but Sony player died years ago. I've been thinking of getting a new one. Anyone ever got a Laserdisc from Ebay? I've seen some good prices on there but I am wondering what the quality would be like? Any place where they might be selling them new?

Check out the Home Theater section. There was a discussion going on and someone suggested. laserdiscvault.com . I haven't used it or checked it out though.

I have still a good collection of Laserdiscs and such, some not available in DVD. I would not mind watching them again.

If you want to buy a new player someone at Amazon is selling one for around $800.00 it also plays DVDs and CDs. There are also some used ones you can buy there if you do a search.

The advantage of amazon is their buyer protection plan but I would make sure it applies to laserdisc players.

Yes, I have a bunch that I know will probably never make it to DVD, let alone Blu-ray.
