Default Favorite Philip K. Dick Movie Adaptation Poll

I was watching Total Recall and figured I would ask the forums here what is their favorite adaptation of his. I do expect Blade Runner to run away with it but asking nonetheless.

You predicted my vote: Blade Runner.

My favorite of those movies to watch is most certainly Minority Report. Actually, I thought BR was incredibly boring. But that's just me. If that wasn't going to get me flamed: I really liked Next. In no small part due to Biel, but thought that it was more than a little entertaining.

We all have our own tastes I suppose, and Next was okay for me, the ending really just killed it. With the exception of the French one that I have not seen and did not know existed until I created this poll, I liked to some extent all of the movies. Impostor and Next are by far the weakest though.

I really like Blade Runner, and voted for it. But Imposter was a very good film, and I just watched Screamers a few days ago. First time in about 3-4 years and liked it better than I remembered.

Ok, I don't remember what it was. But there was a movie based on a story of his......a guy is a vacuum salesmen in the future. And some government agents come visit him....but I can't remember anything after that. Anyone know what this is?

This is the most one-sided poll ever made.

One of the most classic lines is 'why do they take the bodies?'

'maybe eyeball jelly makes good gear wax, I dunno'

I voted for "A Scanner Darkly", but it's really tied with Blade Runner.

After reading the novels and short stories, Scanner Darkly is the closest adaptation to the original in that list. They made a couple changes but that's it. Most of the other movies aren't even close.

Yup, Blade Runner for me. I do like Total Recall and Minority Report as well. But did anybody else thought A Scanner Darkly was too damn slow and confusing?

While many of those movies are enjoyable I was impressed by Screamers.

Not surprisingly, my vote went to Blade Runner. I saw Scanner Darkly for the first time last week and enjoyed it, but no where near as much as Blade Runner. Total Recall to me feels a bit dated and could do with a remake as the rubber Arnie heads always make me laugh, but I do enjoy watching Sharon Stone.

Screamers, nah, did not care for it. As for Minority Report, not seen it in ages (only once) and would like to watch again as it did not create a big enough impression for me to buy or remember it.

Blade Runner, one of the rare cases where the movie is better than the book.
Children of Men being another.

I had to go with Total Recall. For me Blade Runner was too boring, and Minority Report has little to no replay value. That's not to say Total Recall is the greatest movie out there, but that's the only movie on the list I would want to sit down and watch.
