Default Toshiba LED backlit 55SV670u.....thoughts?

Saw this in the Magnolia home theater section of BB on my lunch break, and, holy shit, it is mouth-wateringly GORGEOUS. From the design to the picture quality. I thought I had it all figured out. I was ready to jump on the Panasonic V10 in a month or so, but this thing has changed the game completely. I've never owned anything from Toshiba other than a DVD player that I've had for a few years now (and I love it), so if anyone has any thoughts on this set it would be much appreciated.

You can get banned for that.

Are there any reviews on the set yet?

Do yourself a favor and stick with your first choice. The V10 will blow-away the Toshiba in real-world viewing. You'll be much happier in the long run.

2ms, 4ms, 6ms, 8ms....

They're all 'slow', relatively speaking. I'd doubt most people could actually see a difference between them.

I have read there only two manufactures that have true 240hz TVs: Sony and Samsung. The others use their 120hz and do some tinkering to make it seem like 240 but I am not an expert just someone who reads.

I have a Samsung B8000 and its response time is 2ms.

Two different brands of TV with different processing, etc. Apples and oranges. The difference between 6 and 8ms is 0.002 seconds. Your eye cannot detect that small of a difference, so obviously something else was causing the problem. Also, motion blur and input lag are two completely different animals.

Ric, what makes you say the V10 will blow away the Toshiba in a home-viewing setting?
